Driftwood Hollow

★★★★☆ 4.3 Editor rating

Driftwood Hollow is a slow, warm adventure about wandering a seaside town, talking to its residents, and slowly untangling why the fog never lifts. It's light on action and heavy on atmosphere, and I mean that as praise.

You tap to move, poke at objects, and piece together a notebook of clues. Puzzles are never brutal — the game trusts you to notice things rather than hiding solutions behind moon logic. The art is lovely, all watercolor washes and soft light.

It's short, maybe five hours, but it stuck with me longer than plenty of bigger games. Play it before bed with the sound on.
